Fountain Upper-Level
FS FOUNTAIN GALLERY UPPER-LEVEL WALLS
Fountain Square’s Fountain Area
The fountain galleries at Fountain Square were formed in a public-private partnership
between CFC Properties and the City of Bloomington to provide additional exhibit spaces for artists to display their work in downtown Bloomington.
The FS Gallery Walls display creative pieces by local and national artists. The upper-level walls rotate artwork on an annual basis.
Free and accessible during Fountain Square’s building hours, the FS Fountain Gallery Upper-Level Walls are viewable from the main atrium’s overlook just north of the glass elevator. Fountain Square’s primary entrance, off Kirkwood Avenue, leads directly into the main atrium. Also viewable within the main atrium is the FS Gallery Wall (across from the yellow staircase).
The Fountain Square Gallery Committee, comprised of respectable individuals within the Bloomington arts community, oversees the FS Gallery Wall and the artwork selection process. Fountain Square exhibitions are coordinated by the Fountain Square Gallery Committee in partnership with the City of Bloomington.
Inquiries regarding future exhibitions may be directed to Holly Warren, Assistant Director for the Arts, in the City of Bloomington’s Department of Economic and Sustainable Development, by email.
